Christine Iger, President

Christine Iger is President of Southern California based Iger & Associates Government Interface Consultants. She represents and advises clients before local, state, and federal elected and appointed public officials on a variety of public agency matters. She has over twenty five years of government and community relations expertise in resolving issues covering regulatory changes, political due diligence, local ordinances and other governmental activities. She was the CEO of the Building Industry Association of Southern California, Orange County Chapter, and proactively engaged in political, regulatory, and legal issues involving land use planning and infrastructure. She is a former public official having been Deputy Secretary for the California Business, Transportation & Housing Agency, and when she served as the State’s top housing chief as the Director of the California Department of Housing and Community Development where she was responsible for all statewide programs and policies concerning housing and economic development. Christine is an attorney and is a member of the California State Bar. She is also an instructor with the Iger & Associates “Government Interface Institute,” which conducts extensive workshops designed to provide the latest “best practices” in government interface disciplines for professionals who work with public sector decision makers at all levels of government.

Robert Iger, Chairman

Bob Iger is Chairman of Southern California based Iger & Associates Government Interface Consultants. He represents local and national clients before local, state, and federal public officials providing political leadership in complex government matters. He works closely with elected and appointed public officials on public finance, transportation, airport, land use, and healthcare matters. Bob advises clients on business development opportunities. He also provides timely information on any legal, regulatory, and legislative changes impacting clients. He has an extensive business background in corporate governance, legal support, and corporate financing. Bob has previously been the CEO of a public company, successfully ran a venture capital firm, a start-up computer software company, and was in charge of strategic planning for the largest division of Xerox Corporation. He is an active member of the California Bar and holds a JD Degree from Western State University. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and a Masters Degree in Econometrics from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is an instructor with the Iger & Associates “Government Interface Institute,” which conducts extensive workshops designed to provide the latest best practices in government interface disciplines for professionals who work with public sector decision makers at all levels of government.

Christopher Reese, Executive Vice President

Chris Reese is Executive Vice President of Southern California based Iger & Associates Government Interface Consultants. He is intricately involved with public officials from municipal and regional planning agencies, redevelopment agencies, city and county departments, planning commissions, and public decision makers at all levels of government. Chris represents clients on land use entitlement, political due diligence, procurements, competitive bids, and regulatory matters impacting the manufacturing industries. He previously served as a Senior Field Representative for California Assemblywoman Lynn Daucher. He represented the Assemblywoman on community projects impacting the cities of Anaheim, Brea, Fullerton, La Habra, Orange, Placentia and Yorba Linda. While a public official, Chris worked on a variety of government and community relations issues including transportation, senior citizen and health care issues, including unemployment and disability. He also worked closely with public officials in the California Department of Real Estate and the California Department of Justice. Christopher Reese is a graduate of California State University, Fullerton, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He is an instructor with the Iger & Associates “Government Interface Institute,” which conducts extensive workshops designed to provide the latest best practices in government interface disciplines for professionals who work with public sector decision makers at all levels of government.

Joshua Haskins, Vice-President

Joshua Haskins is Vice President of Southern California based Iger & Associates Government Interface Consultants. He represents clients before public officials at all levels of government within the Southern California area. Joshua also develops community relations support for various clients including residential and mixed-use development projects and healthcare facilities. He previously worked in the real estate industry specializing in entitlements for complex real estate projects, including mixed-use and large master planned communities. Joshua has also worked as campaign coordinator on multiple political campaigns requiring community support from Ventura County to Riverside County. Before that he worked for a well-known lobbying firm in Washington, DC. Joshua graduated from Brown University with a double major in Law & Public Policy and Political Science. He is an instructor with the Iger & Associates “Government Interface Institute,” which conducts extensive workshops designed to provide the latest best practice in government interface disciplines for professionals who work with public sector decision makers at all levels of government.

Derek Spalding, Client Services Manager

Derek Spalding is Client Services Manager at Iger & Associates. His responsibilities include ensuring all public policy actions relating to client matters are closely tracked, while also conducting research on a variety of issues for the firm's government relations efforts. He also regularly attends public hearings and provides timely reports and other pertinent information for our clients and government relations team.

Previously Derek participated in the UCDC Academic Internship Program in the Office of Government Affairs and Corporate Communications for Amtrak in our nation's capital. During his experience in Washington, Derek was intricately involved in the political process as he directly supported Amtrak's government affairs executives.

Derek recently graduated from the University of California, San Diego receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies - History. He was also a nationally ranked sailor on the UC San Diego sailing team.


Brett Swenson, Executive Coordinator

Brett Swenson is Executive Coordinator at Iger & Associates. His responsibilities include supporting company-wide efforts in research, program implementation, and external communications. As part of these ongoing projects, Brett continually monitors and analyzes public policy actions affecting our clients in California and nationally.

Previously Brett has worked for local Assemblymember Todd Spitzer representing the constituents of the 71st District. During his time with the Assemblymember, Brett assisted with constituent concerns, research of pertinent policy issues, as well as public relations for the entire district.

Brett is receiving a double major in Political Science and Philosophy from Chapman University. He is active at Chapman in the student government, and recently won a national mediation competition for the school.
